How Do You Use GlycoZen?
A simple four-step routine to discuss with your doctor. Here is what each step means.
1. Talk to your doctor first
Especially about medicines and low blood sugar. Bring the bottle or a photo of the label.
2. Follow the label directions
The directions are not stated in the materials we reviewed. One customer quote on the seller’s page mentions a dropper in morning coffee, which is not a reliable instruction. The bottle decides, and you should not exceed it.
3. Build the basics around it
Fiber-rich meals, protein, non-starchy vegetables, fewer sugary drinks, regular walking and enough sleep do far more for blood sugar than any supplement. See foods that steady blood sugar and walking and blood sugar basics.
4. Track and review with your doctor
If you monitor your levels, keep your usual routine and share your log. Do not change medicine on your own, and stop and call your doctor if you notice signs of low blood sugar.
⚠️ If you take diabetes medicine, talk to your doctor first
All four named ingredients are discussed in connection with blood sugar. With insulin, metformin, sulfonylureas or other glucose-lowering medicine they may add up and cause low blood sugar.
- Never stop, skip or lower a prescribed medicine because of a supplement.
- Tell your doctor and pharmacist, and show them the label.
- Know the signs of low blood sugar: shakiness, sweating, hunger, dizziness, confusion.
- Ask first if you have kidney or liver disease, are pregnant or nursing, or plan surgery.
